Welcome to Growing Up On Flora Street.
If you are here you probably either lived on Flora St. or know someone that did. As Cal was getting ready for the 20th anniversary of the Flora St. golf tournament he asked if somebody wanted to put together a video to commemorate things over the years. I volunteered and the result is below.
I also thought I would put the pictures on flickr.com in case someone wanted a picture or two from the old days. You can check them out by clicking here.
If you have old pictures it would be great if you could scan and send them to me digitally at cajensen2000@yahoo.com and I can put them on the flickr account and maybe even update the video by next years golf tournament.
Also, maybe people will feel inclined to share their memories of Flora St. in the comment section about 4th of July or maybe just the little things like playing croquet on the McCoy's front lawn, ditch 'em thoughout the neighborhood, or the kids gathering at Geoff's house to ride to school on our bikes to Wolters Elementary (something you don't see very often these days).
